Coffee Break SoSe '15

Die Coffee Break soll primär einen Raum bieten für Diskussionen, Fragen und Anregungen zum Platypus-Projekt oder für Gedanken, die durch Artikel der Platypus Review* aufgeworfen wurden.
Daneben bietet es die Möglichkeit sich in lockerer Atmosphäre über die gegenwärtige Lage der Linken auszutauschen, über aktuelle politische Themen zu diskutieren oder sich über Platypus zu informieren.
Neue Gesichter und Perspektiven sind immer willkommen. Alle Interessierten sind herzlich eingeladen!

In diesem Semester wird die Coffee Break immer donnerstags ab 14 Uhr im Literaturcafé "Anna Blume" im IG 0156 auf dem IG-Farben Campus stattfinden (meist im hinteren Raum der Anna Blume). Haltet nach dem Schnabeltier Ausschau.

*Die Platypus Review ist eine monatlich erscheinende Zeitschrift, die als Plattform für den Diskurs innerhalb der Linken dient und liegt an verschiedenen Orten (z.B. KoZ, TurmCafé, Exzess, Philocafé usw.) kostenlos aus.

On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the 1989 revolutions—the ‘Autumn of Nations’ in the Soviet bloc—the Platypus Affiliated Society organized an international panel series on the significance of 1989 for the Left. The panel held at New York University on February 17, 2015 consisted of Boris Kagarlitsky, director of the Institute for Global Research and Social Movements in Moscow, Christoph Lichtenberg, supporter of the International Bolshevik Tendency, and Mel Rothenberg, a member of the Chicago Political Economy Group.
